Part 1 : Document loss

1- How many employees work on your network?
2- What is the proportion (in %) of those employees that are CAD users?
3- Do your employees ever loose documents? (If the answer is no, just skip to part 2)
4- In a typical week, how many times will an "Office" user search for a lost document?
5- In a typical week, how many times will a CAD user search for a document (drawing, xrefs, Word, Excel,etc…)?
6- How much time, on average, will a typical user spend searching for a lost document?
 
7- How much time, on average, will an "Office" user spend recreating a lost document?

Part 2 : Versions control

1- Have you ever had multiple copies of the same version of a document that contained different information from one copy to the next?
2- If the answer is yes, has this problem ever occured in front of a customer?
3- Are you able to make sure that the right document goes to the right person at the right time?
4- Has it ever happened that two or more people were modifying the same document at the same time, without knowing it?


Part 3 : Safety and traceability

1- Are you able to know who has accessed your company's documents and when?
2- In case there's a catastrophy (fire, flood, breakdown, etc…), is there a way for you to retrieve all your documents?
3- Are you capable of tracing who approved what in past projects or all the notes and documents pertaining to that same project?

Part 4: Conclusion

1- Could your company benefit from a solution that would solve all the preceding issues?
2- If Le Groupe BusCom were to organize an event centering on this type of solution, in order to demonstrate it's different aspects, with the help of guest speakers and workshops, would your company be interested in attending?
